This is a "B" Stock Bass. The StingRay Classic RAY24CA revives the original StingRay Classic for today?s players. This bass is loaded with vintage-correct appointments that make you feel like you?re back in the ?70s. It features a vintage-style flat slab mahogany body for resonance and midrange warmth. The body is loaded with an H-1 humbucker with a ceramic magnet for a high-output tone with a strong treble response. Meanwhile, you also get a 9-volt active preamp for tons of headroom and a 2-band EQ for simple tone-shaping. The body is bolted to a hard maple neck with a vintage-style nut width. Measuring in at 38mm, the nut is slightly narrower than normal ? a feature that bassists here at Sweetwater really appreciate.
